Making disciples is a Biblical Mandate that goes beyond just getting people saved and baptized. It also entails teaching/equipping them to live their New Creation life approved unto God.
Being born again and baptized are events that happens in a moment, but the making of a disciple is a process. The process consist of: Being transformed by the renewing of your mind. (Rom 12:2) It’s the reprogramming of the mind to become aligned with the born again spirit. This takes time, and must be intentional.
It’s essential that every believer be discipled-not just baptized-after being born again. Otherwise, the believer may never become a disciple.
